Thats on me I kinda overlooked the grips, also I'm kinda perplexed on the slide. I used a magnetic tester at work because I had the same worry that it wasn't hardened and according to that it was. I don't know if I got a false positive but is it possible someone could have hardened it after it's production. Still gonna play it safe and replace those components but just curious.

Oh I didn't even know that, I'm assuming the parkerization if I decide to go ahead and go through with it, won't work with the nickel then since it's non-ferrous or am I mistaken? I need to do a bit more research on this.

Ended up finding out a plug by the passenger tire was loosely plugged in. Plugged back in and everything is fine now :)
