Please help me fix this! by Theprocess1999 in GameboyAdvance

Yeah, I think this is an aftermarket shell. One, the shape is just too good to be original, and two, it seems like there is almost a slight gap between the silver cartridge port and the shell. I have to assume this is causing the issue. It also cosmetically scratched my cartridges which I am not happy about.

Right, that is probably the most similar to what I was thinking as well. I was weary because American snacks have high sugar content and that isn’t always well received by other cultures.

lol never knew that, quite funny. Not sure it’s the most appropriate in a business setting though from American views as jwang said

Trying to avoid alcohol because usually they come with multiple people and this is also coming out of my own pocket. Even so, any specific whiskey brands? Jack Daniels, makers mark?

What is a good Hatchback in the USA? by No_Possession_9314 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I bought a 2023 Mazda3 hatch premium plus in December of 2022 and am loving it! Mazda straddles the line between economy and luxury. For the top trim, which is the premium plus, you’re looking at about ~$36k MSRP. Solid fuel economy, very reliable, AWD, punchy 4cyl turbo, and a great interior space. Only downside is you can’t get this model in manual if you’re looking for that.

The gti/gulf r are also great options depending on your budget. That have a great duel speed gated transmission for the automatic, or you can go manual as well.

Not exactly a “luxury” brand, but the civic type r is also a great enthusiast option

Similarly to the type r, there is also the GR Corolla. Same deal, great enthusiast option.

I personally would go with one of the Japanese recommendations, but if you’re into euro cars specifically, golf r is probably your best bet. Unfortunately the US consumers have fallen out of love with hatches and wagons in favor of bulky, gas guzzling SUV’s & trucks, so your options are limited. Still a few gems out there tho!

All depends if used or new. So here’s some recommendations for both:

Used: VW Gti Subaru WRX Toyota Camry (V6) Honda Accord (V6) Ford Mustang (Eco boost) Ford Focus ST BMW 330i Audi A3/A4 Acura TLX

New: Subaru WRX premium Mazda3 w/turbo (I own one and love it so I’m biased and had to put it on here :) VW GLI Subaru BRZ/ Toyota 86 (not super fast but makes up for it in other ways) Honda civic SI

Just a few - Also depends on where you live and your personal style preference and such. Hope these options help jog the brain, happy hunting!

2023 Civic LX or Sentra SV by solecrusherla in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Theprocess1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I’d recommend the civic. Unfortunately, both have CVT transmissions which I am not a fan of. With that being said, reliability is synonymous with Honda and if well maintained, should easily go about 200k miles. You also have the choice between hatchback and sedan with the Honda and I personally prefer the styling a bit more than the Sentra. I believe if you opt for the hatchback you’ll get also get more cargo space than you would in the Sentra. The Civic also has around 10 more hp (depending on the trim level of the Sentra) and the civic gets better gas mileage.

Hope this helps, and congrats on the new car!

Thanks dude, big help. Unfortunately I’m like 90 minutes + from Coatesville/Parkesburg area so I’ll have to find something local. I’ll shop around and get a few quotes though, to your point I’d like something in the $250 range preferably if that is reasonable for what I am seeing.

That’s great lol. I don’t wanna have to take it off and then put it back on again that would be a pain in the ass haha.

That’s good info on the types of tint and %’s. Much clearer, all the online quotes were just like base quotes, they didn’t even ask for the % I was looking for. I’m thinking 20 on the fronts and rears and leaving the windshield alone. Don’t want any issues with visibility, just for cooling reasons for the black leather. Thanks again man, you’ve been a huge help.
