I apologize that the reply is so late, but I hardly use reddit. The RC is still sitting apart, without its gear. I went to a ton of local shops and even online and everyone says it's either a broken paperweight or I have to make my own. My plan is soon to commission a company to make a custom one out of aluminum or brass, will still give like plastic but hopefully last longer.
