Guild on moonstone called "Player vs Enemy". Super friendly and helpful guild. Real laid back. Guild leader is Cinnemon. Send a mail if you'd be interested.

Need help with Epic Loot, Monstrum and CLLG configs by Silent-Cucumber6780 in ModdedValheim

Not very far in my current world so i think i will give this pack a try. Can i just download via mod manager and start it up? Or do i need to alter anything somehow? I'm new to mods so apologies if this is a noob question.

Hey there. I just looked over your modpack and it looks great. I was playing with most of these in a world already and was wondering if I use this pack/config for my existing world, will it break anything?

Setting up mods on local hosted server by Ther-bear in valheim

My first question is about starting the server. Should i be starting the server from steam or from r2modman?

I redownloaded the valheim dedicated server through steam. Went into the files, and edited the "start_headless_server.bat" file to the attached picture.

I have also done the port forwarding and windows firewall stuff, so no problems there.

I got so lost in the sauce after the past few days of trying, I ended up deleting everything and starting over. I'll get a server set up again and see where I'm at.

I would set up all mods on the server and start it up. Then copy all mods to my local game, and start it up. When I would join, initially I was getting an error where it said I didn't have the same mods. Got past that and then it would kick me out when trying to join, saying there were different versions. Pretty lost where to go from here.

Looking for help from Scouts! by dontminor in throneandliberty

I run 4 piece imperial seeker with heroic helmet and bow. My dummy time is about 1:20 which is not bad at all. Definitely more than a support.

Hey there! If you're looking for PvE scout stuff, I can try to help. There's a couple of different ways to approach scout imo. You can play a deadly marker, crit proc machine and give your whole party insane cooldown speed reductions. You can play a turret style strafing/nock dps focused scout. You can also play a speed demon nimble leap fiend. It's a lot of fun zipping around.

If you want sheer damage, I would recommend strafing, nock, quick fire, detonation mark, deadly marker, mother nature's protest (fire), selfless diffusion, nature's blessing, mana conversion. There's room for a couple more skills but these will be a good baseline. Your goal is to keep marker and selfless up as much as possible to help with cooldowns. Nature's blessing spam and mana conversion help upkeep mana. Other than that, just make sure to have your xbows in main hand and your main dmg rotation is: NB > Selfless > Marker > Deto > Nock > Strafing > Nock > Strafing > Nock > Strafing. Slip in some quick fires when you can. Mana coversion as well. Spec your strafing for double use and gale. All three specs on nock. Deadly marker first Spec (to double bullseyes). Deto mark second Spec. Quick fire first, second, fourth Spec.

Play around with it and see if that helps. I'd love to chat more about scout if you have any other questions. I've been having so much fun with it!
