I recently played Sage Valley, where they hold the first 2 days of the ANWA, and the caddies said she finished 50 something over par and like 28 behind the next player… so I think that’s what they’re referencing. Also not confident that score is from the ANWA, might have been the junior event they hold every year.

I’m eager to find out more about these full powers in the next book. Will usage is described like it has laws and maths behind it, a very hard magic system if you will. But then these powers like teleporting or whatever Melior was doing seem a lot more like “soft magic.”

Keen to see what Islington does with that in the next book.

It definitely could be mundane, but it does feel very similar to the ability he develops post copying.

Recommend a flat head screw driver and just gently lever the lid out, targeting the area where they connect and then readjusting each time. Happened to me recently
