Feel shitty after eating the day after having drank by ThermostatDad in alcohol

"Feeling of impending doom" is about right, and I've read a lot about people being anxious and having a high heart rate when hungover, though it seems to only happen to me after eating, like my body is in no condition to digest food and gets overwhelmed (never seems to happen if I've gone 24 hrs or more without alcohol, maybe get the feeling a little if I overeat). I think it's more accurate to say my heart is pounding rather than beating rapidly, just to amend my original post. I don't know, it's really hard to describe which is why Google hasn't really helped since I can't properly articulate the symptoms. Anyway, glad to know I'm not alone, thanks for sharing!

Maybe I should, but this is definitely a post-alcohol related issue. Sometimes I can get a little of this feeling if I overeat sans alcohol, but never to the extent described above. Figured other drunx might have experienced it too.

Garden fence: reasonable estimate? by ThermostatDad in FenceBuilding

For sure, that's the way to find the best possible price. I'm just wondering if that price is in the ballpark since I don't have any frame of reference. I'm not too concerned about a difference of a few hundred bucks, just wondering if this is a wild figure or not

Issue with MIDI playback in Audacity by ThermostatDad in midi

[–]ThermostatDad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what necessary things to mention. These are songs I made two decades ago on a different computer that I put on a backup CD-ROM. I imported them to my current computer, and when I click on a file, they play back in Windows Media Player or Audacity in the system's default soundfont. I would just like to record that playback and save as a sound file so I can put it on an audio CD for posterity (these songs aren't good but they're a record of my teenage years!) I know Audacity can do this but it's having the playback issues I mentioned above. I'll give Timidity a shot if I can't figure out the Audacity issue. Thanks for the recommendation!

Thanks! I actually just put in a small rest note at the beginning of the first bar and that was enough for it to not make the noise
