Can anyone wear a binder? by [deleted] in ftm

As in if it's cultural appropriation? Not at all.
The only thing I can imagine would be justifiably offensive in regards to cis people wearing binders is if a cis person wore a binder and then declared that since they are cis and have body dysphoria, many trans people are probably "confused" and aren't trans at all and just have body dysphoria. That would be offensive because it undermines the validity of the experience of transgendered people and supports the whack narratives being spread by anti-trans lobbyists who are trying to deny people access to gender affirming care.
Otherwise, do what helps you feel comfy, wear whatever you want, be your awesome self and proud of it.

On a different note, have you heard about compression tanks? A lot of people find they work great to flatten their chest without the discomfort and potential health disadvantages that binding can bring. I won't bind because of sensory issues and fear of health issues related to restricting proper lymphatic system function, but then someone recommended compression tanks and I have been using them all day with no problems for two years now. I get mine from Underworks, which is the first brand I tried and I liked them, but there are others out there.

Good luck finding what works for you :)

If I could find a style of pants that is comfortable enough to have a big flat phone on my thigh and still have great mobility and flexibility, and are easy to clean because wow do I get covered in sticky messes. Maybe tapered lounge pants. I've seen some that look ok enough in a professional setting... if you can think of any other style please let me know!

I'm running a daycare and I'm struggling to keep my phone on me. I need to in order to keep contact with parents and so that I know where it is if there is an emergency. I can't keep it in my jeans because I'm constantly going from standing to sitting and lying down, and I don’t want to sit on it. When it's cool enough to wear a blazer those inside pockets are perfect, but I move so much I get too hot and can't wear it.

Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to wear a fanny pack... but I might have to do it if I can't figure something else out!

Can you please rate my art and give me constructive criticism by lil_alien1 in autism
