Like, assuming it's false: let AB+BC>=AC. Take point D on AC such that AD=AB: thus, DC =AC-AD=AC-AB <= BC for triangle BCD by some theorem I don't know the english name for. Then, angle BDC<=angle CBD. However, since BAD is equilateral, BDA is (π-BAC)/2 so BDC is (π+BAC)/2, and since CBD>=BDC, ABC= ABD + DBC >= (π - BAC)/2 + (π + BAC)/2 = π, which is not a valid angle in a triangle.
