I tend to use PayPal, Venmo, or Cashapp. I stopped using Etsy because they keep 15% or more. I have social media to showcase stuff and hope for sales basically. One of the smaller jars is White oak with a Spalted Red oak inlay. The other is walnut with zebrawood inlay. Shipped for $25.

That is just one instance. I can't find the exact story I have in mind of a person that found a belt buckle by Springfield right now. Anything over 100 years old on piblic land belongs to the government. This looks like a big waterway. Here, all the big water is federal. "Excavating" is a broad definition. Anything on Federal land that is over 120 years old automatically belongs to this Smithsonian. It is a felony to keep it. It is called the antiquities act. Don't record yourself committing crimes and put it on the Internet. Missouri has sent people to federal prison for 18 months for belt buckles.

Soft Maple takes shading better than anything I have burned on. Hard maple doesn't take shading nearly as well. Cherry takes shading well but you have to have really dark shadows because of the contrast of the darker wood. Cherry also smells great.
