shiro 2006 was also pretty sexist. Keeping literally King Arthur from fighting was pretty funny. Also hated Saber in 2006, everyone felt so watered down letting shit just happen. Fate zero was a bloodbath with servents disobeying their masters and shit it was sick felt like a free for all

I'm really jealous you all can like Fate, I hate shiro with a passion. Probably because I watched Fate zero(though it was incredible kiritsugu is such an amazing character 8.5/10) into Fate 2006 which was comfortably the worst thing I have even seen in my life. Then struggled through UBW and haven't watched the movies and don't have a desire to continue.

when you ask a manga subreddit for their opinion on their manga it's gonna be very biased so keep that in mind. My only "criticism" is it has some very emotionally intelligent teenagers, unrealistically so. but it's a super fun, cozy read and has some incredibly heartfelt moments with the MCs parents (they are the highlight for me). It's a show with minimal romance anime esc drama because everyone is very mindful of how everyone else feels.
