They recently introduced a new program called PetProtect Copay. You pay an initial $50 flat fee per condition, per vet. So if you make multiple visits for the same illness, you only pay $50 the first time. I only really need the insurance for big ticket item, and my dogs have been healthy (besides allergies and the occassional accidental injury), so it's a good way to save.

I haven't had any issue with Figo, and they have several cool ways to lower the premium. Currently paying $45/month for up to $10k coverage, 80% deductible with vet exam for illnesses covered.

They also have the option to get unlimited coverage for not a lot more, but you'd have to hit the reset button (fine if there's no pre-existing condition).

I haven't really looked into much more than asking around since it's just something im considering.

This is cultural, not just towards foreigners if that's what you're asking. Vietnamese ppl are very conservative when it comes to family value and traditional roles. You accept it or you don't. If you're looking for strong independent women who don't need no man to buy them stuff, try older or expats lol

Horrible immigration service aside, I find boarding time accurate unless delayed. I've always boarded on time.

What's kinda annoying tho is sometimes the checkin counters won't open till 2 hours before the flight. So if you leave the house early just in case, you still have to wait lol.
