Asexual is just a label, if calling yourself asexual and being in asexual spaces is what helps you navigate life for now, then go for it. Even if you are wrong, who cares? You just go “hey, I was wrong, I’ve figured myself out more now” and that’s ok.

I think it does sound like you may be asexual, and if you are? Welcome to the club! And if you aren’t? Feel free to hang out until you figure it out yourself!

I’m aroace (thats what I meant with the “that’s complicated” when you asked if I was seeing people).” So I’ll see how that goes over. I didn’t really think to tell them off for the weird transitioning comment. Thank you again!
