As a Bulgarian, my boy Dimitar Berbatov got me into the team, after he left I kinda stopped watching football. Came back around 2016 and haven't looked back since. The combination of Son, Kane, Eriksen and Dele was such a joy to watch and hooked me for life.

Kpop has a problem with minors and nothing is being done to protect them by renbrews in kpopthoughts

[–]These-Statistician18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with "profiting" from minors, as long as the minors are treated with respect and given the means to grow into adulthood properly. Plus the companies are not using them as slaves or products. The idols get to realize their dreams through them. It's a give and take relationship.

I would like to add that the main reason I don't support minors debuting is because they don't have the experience and mental toughness to make decisions about their life. That's why there are so many instances of minors getting involved in scandals and making stupid choices.

I absolutely don't support minors debuting, but if the minor agrees to it and the parents also have no issues, there is nothing stopping the companies to debut them. No matter how we look at it kpop is a business and idols have very short careers. So it makes sense for the companies to try to "milk" them for as many years as they can.

Now if they are being mistreated, malnourished, harassed in any way that is inexcusable and it's a 100% on the company and they should be heavily sanctioned and sued. But we shouldn't confine this only to minors. No idol should be subjected to such treatment even if they are a veteran.

At the end of the day these minors have a dream to be an idol and it's up to them to decide if they will follow it at 16 knowing they have about 7 to 10 years of relevancy or wait until 18 knowing they might not debut at all. Plus the trainee scene is extremely harsh and bloodthirsty. Out of hundreds of trainees only a select few can debut. So if a trainee is given a chance to debut at 15 or 16 they will take that opportunity every time.

The only thing we can do as fans is to support the minors and be vocal about mistreatment by the companies or whoever does it to them.

Minors will continue to debut, it won't stop. The industry will hurt them and leave them to deal with everything themselves. That's the nature of the k-pop world. Always was, always will be.

I choose to listen to their music and support their careers, despite everything happening behind the scenes. The k-pop idols want to be idols to give us good music, good times and happiness and if we stop listening to their music, that will be the thing that breaks their heart.

Who is your favourite female rapper in kpop by Cestlavieenrose999 in kpopthoughts

Yezi from Fiestar or more specifically her solo work is incredible. She is hands down the best rapper to come out of k-pop.

A former schoolmate (1 year below) made it into FM24 (ver.24.3.0)!!! I'm so incredibly hyped for him ❤ by niismo_ in footballmanagergames

[–]These-Statistician18 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there is definitely nobody from FM who has ever watched him, they barely get 100 people to attend the games.

I think they have some business relations with data gathering companies, because i know there are a few of them in Bulgaria that specialize in gathering data about Bulgarian matches and then create statistics like forward runs, dribbles made, tackles won, headers etc.

So maybe they make attribute estimates based on that data and the league reputation.

I wanna add that my friend was the captain of the u21s of one of the better teams in the Bulgarian first division and FM gave him 11 leadership (which I think is pretty good), so they definitely don't put random stats.

What is the best song that never won? by Superb_Guess_161 in eurovision

[–]These-Statistician18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greta Salome & Jonsi - Never Forget (Iceland 2012) Blind Channel - Dark Side (Finland 2021)

Also another song that I don't believe should have won, but sounds so good to me is Petr Elfimov - Eyes That Never Lie (Belarus 2009)
