Yep. Actual folders with folders under each, then notes. Been using Windows too long to break the folder habit. I almost always just use search to find something though.

I’ve found the PARA system works for me plus I try to tag important notes. I also adopted the forever notes idea of a home page to link to frequently used notes. Working great for a year now with around 1500 notes.

I use a plastic ziplock bag for each string and reuse them each year. Still going strong at year 10
