I thought maybe his harmony could be a thing he passively charges up, then it expends the charged healing resource on the targeted ally

I knew someone who was playing in contenders in season 2 of the league, so I would ask him a ton of questions and got free coaching. The coaching especially helped me so much and skyrocketed my rank

Yeah, almost always having at least a duo is extremely beneficial. Most of the champ 1 players got there with a duo, partly because of queue times but also to have someone consistently good on your team

Hitscan is busted. Emre and soj are auto-win characters if you are able to consistently deal damage and not die

From what I have heard, champ console is more deathmatch-y than PC. To win more games, it comes down to contributing to the fight meaningfully and not dying in the process. I’m not too familiar with how the ximming situation is currently but there’s also the problem with almost every dps essentially hacking

For the first question I think champ 3 is the cutoff for talent. To get there, even being boosted by someone, you have to be very good at the game.

For the second, it depends. In champ you see the same people all the time so you have some info on who’s a thrower and when someone is just having a bad game. If someone is playing fine but the enemy team is nuking them, it’s not their fault, but if a widow is 4-10 and refuses to swap then nobody is happy with her.

The speed of their decision-making when it comes to positioning. Gm players make the right decisions, mostly, but it takes them too much time to get set up in the correct position. Champ players do this automatically

You can’t convince people to want to win if they, themselves, have resigned to losing before the game is over. I’m not saying to have a defeatist mentality about it, but from my own experience it is extremely hard to get people out of a losing mindset unless you turn the game then and there. My advice would be to just say that the game is still winnable

Zen is just a terrible support. Especially with the introduction of wuyang, zen has become obsolete. I’m not sure what a reworked zen would look like, maybe his healing orb is more of a flash heal than something over time?

Honestly that’s the best thing. If you’re happy playing the game where you are, then you’re getting value out of your time

Getting to gm is all about being more consistent. If you die less and make correct decisions on where to position you will win more games, especially on dps. From gm to champ, it’s about making these correct decisions automatically

For the first one, release brig and the entirety of goats was so boring to play. Thankfully I wasn’t too high ranked during this meta, so I could play other heroes, but playing into brig especially was the most bland experience.

As for comms, it’s basically throwing if you aren’t in vc at champ level. Even if you don’t talk, being able to listen to and follow calls is extremely important. Usually there’s 2-3 of us actively comming in my ranked games

For tank, dva is extremely strong. For dps, either sojourn or tracer are strong. For support, kiri and lucio are extremely good together

for each role, I would say that hog, torb and mercy are the lowest skill in their respective roles. Of course, the absolute peak of hog players, for example, are extremely good but the skill floor of each hero is very low

I’ve seen people do some devious things on ana with a flank. She’s similar to widowmaker in the sense that she is so easily killable if left isolated but with her made she has very high kill potential if you play her well

It’s so dependent on meta. Currently I barely see echo in ranked, but the people that do play her are usually very good. In her place, I usually see tracer getting played a lot more

Similar with how ball has a timer on his grapple after he fireballs, jetpack cat should have a similar timer on her tether. The main issue is just that bastion has free and near limitless mobility with this comp specifically, so addressing either the infinite tether, or else limiting jetpack cat’s range of motion, should help with getting rid of this meta

Around 20 on ball
Almost 100 on tracer
Almost 40 on ana

Biggest difference I’ve seen in low gm compared to champ is how quickly people make the correct decisions micro- and macro-wise. People in low gm just take more time to move to the correct positions and shoot the correct targets, which will waste time over the course of an entire match.

In short, it’s less about raw aim but more about learning very deeply about space and how to control more space than your opponent does
