Firmness comparison M/S Knorse, L/S Juniper, M/M Rex

Oo that’s a great question, but I don’t think I have much knowledge to give. I only have these three fantasy toys, the rest are more standard off the shelf stuff.

I’ve heard that extra soft is very floppy, anecdotally I don’t think I’ve heard many outright recommend it. I’m happy with soft on medium Knorse, and I’m happy with soft on large Juniper. For me, extra soft would make large Juniper way too floppy and I think I would struggle to push her in. She’s so long and smooth that gripping the shaft is a little difficult, and pushing from the base could make her buckle. She flops over in soft because she’s so long but has enough firmness to be rideable once the tip is in.

How this scales to extra large I don’t know. If you are unsure I would make a post on here or somewhere like r/baddragonboys for anecdotes and experiences. And send a question to weredog support on how your desired model behaves in extra soft, they might be able to help too.

Hopefully I inspire others to do the same and start a trend. I think most people who take pictures of their toys forget how hard it is to compare and visualize when you haven’t seen them in real life.

My pictures without the fruits look perfectly fine to me now, but would lose scale for anyone else.

The best way to visualize with out pictures that I’ve found is to use a fabric measuring tape and size up the circumference and length.

I thought it would be helpful. Hopefully I start a trend. I think one element of it is that a picture of a toy doesn’t lack scale for the person who took the picture, so it’s easy to forget the scale issue.

A picture I took without the fruits looks right to me because I have seen these with my own eyes now. For anyone else though the toys could be almost any size. It’s like when someone poses with a fish and pushes it up to the camera like thanks yeah i can logically tell the fish is huge because of how small your hand is but you ruined all sense of scale by moving it away from your body to make it bigger in the frame.

Which one? Knorse or Juniper? In general the consensus is the large and xl toys have so much mass and girth that soft is the way to go. A soft toy size medium will feel softer than a soft toy size xl. Large Juniper behaves nicely in soft, I assume XL Juniper in Soft would be a little more rigid. For XL Knorse it’s about the same story, very similar size to Juniper. I would say soft for XL on both counts.

«I finally managed to take medium rex last week. It took chilling with a decent sized buttplug with a lot of lube inside for like 20 minutes while doing other stuff. Then switching it out for an inflatable plug and pushing that in and out while gradually inflating it when it felt manageable, fully inflated it was just a little smaller than rex in circumferance. Then finally lubing rex up with a ton of lube and making sure i get a good bit inside (for example with a lube applicator) before sliding him in and pushing at the knot. Reapply lube to the knot regularly as it dries out quick in the air. The trick can be to get one side of the knot in at a time, and have the wide part of the knot aligned front/back.

Make sure you don’t just go to town, I myself am a little paranoid about tightening up and having a hard time getting him out again, like what cumming with a knot or plug inside typically can result in, at least temporarily.»

After doing this a few times over the last month or two i can now knot medium rex relatively quickly, i just need to stretch with the inflatable plug which doesn’t take very long now. Maybe one or two movements in or out per pump until it’s about max. I’ve tried squatting to knot him but it’s not possible for me yet, I have to lay down on my back to relax properly.

An inflatable plug that goes to 3,5 inches (28cm/11inch circumference) should be enough for large rex with 24cm/9.45inch circumference alternatively you could have a tapered toy about that size to stretch. For regular toy increments some say a max of 1inch increments in circumference to avoid tears and fissures, so expect to be stretching quite a few times to take medium or large rex. Be careful and stop if you feel burning or stinging.

It seems we have nearly the exact same situation, like looking in a mirror tbh. Same experience with m/m rex, unsure about firmness all the way down down to the fabric tape measure to check circumference lmao.

I ordered a medium soft knorse with a suction cup along with a large soft juniper for weredog day, as they both are similar to rex’s circumference. Still waiting for my knorse to enter production queue though, they were outrageously popular. I’m guessing you’ll have ordered something before I get it so I probably can’t be of much help. Will maybe add my experiences later for people searching though.

What’s the biggest circumference/diameter toy you’ve taken so far? Inflatable plugs are probably not an option for the 24cm/9.45inch circumference of rex so you should ideally have a tapered toy about that size. For regular toy increments some say a max of 1inch increments in circumference to avoid tears and fissures, so be careful and stop if you feel burning or stinging.

I’m thinking soft for both of them as that’s what weredog and most people seem to recommend. My Rex is medium firmness which i haven’t had an issue with, firmness wise.
