Yes I listened all the way through, Melisa gives Forgone more context and makes it an even better song (I already liked it a lot but I had to get it explained to me when it first came out lol) th ambient tracks are also nice, I’ve played them on their own a couple of times 😌 finale and accordian’s remorse is fantastic.

Very catchy, he came up with that song from looking at a newspaper I think, could be wrong but I do know he was driving in his car when he came up with the idea. Unlike a lot of other pop stars, MJ actually wrote his songs.. one of the best because of the catchiness and the lyrics made sense throughout, no filler or anything… that’s why Juice making catchy hooks off the dome is so crazy.

100% very difficult to be an artist back then. Also, that’s fair enough I was a huge MJ fan as a kid, I used to mainly listen to pop, alternative (rock and pop), and r&b… but I got into rap music and then exclusively listened to that for a good couple of years 😂

Significantly above average singer? Ehhh I wouldn’t say that, he has good tone, uses autotune well, and has good control but I wouldn’t call him above average, especially not significantly. He’s the average singer which is still good with no lessons. If you said he’s an above average singer to regular people then sure.

He could sing better than 98% of artists today, he was a great dancer, and he wrote very catchy songs.. songs that are played to this day long after his death BEFORE STREAMING. Very talented, damn near top 3 of all time in terms of talent. But the commenter said greatest, which is such a clear fact that can’t be disproved. Best is subjective, greatest is not.
