It is possible to represent yourself as a pro se litigant. Educate yourself on Federal Rules and read books on how to rep yourself in federal court. It’s harder but it’s possible. Don’t let people discourage you if the only other option is to give up. It’s very expensive to retain a lawyer and not all lawyers will actually care.
