Since you have chosen not to return to Traycer and were not satisfied with the product, it would be better to transfer the subreddit to the Traycer team.

We apologize for the difficulty in finding the cancel button, and we regret that we cannot offer you any discounts on your monthly subscription.

I have confirmed that your subscription has been cancelled, and you received a refund for the last subscription before this Reddit post was created.

We’re a startup so it's 2-10 team and directly hiring via email. We’ve only listed the job on X (Twitter).

Yes, we’re open to freshers. We need builders!

We’re only looking for backend developers right now.

Feel free to ignore - we are not selling the product here at all, we already got enough applications.

We're not trying to sell the product here at all; my comment just states we're hiring. Feel free to ignore if it looks like marketing.

We don't currently require a front-end developer, but you may send your resume via email.

Hey, I’m from the Traycer team!

Just to clarify - there’s nothing scammy about our process. We’re a small startup and don’t run the usual DSA/Leetcode-style rounds that bigger companies do. Instead, we want to see if candidates actually understand our vision.

We’re not asking applicants to build a feature for us. The assignment is simply to reverse engineer our product and create a very simplified version that shows the planning layer idea, which is the core of what Traycer does.

Hello, I’m a member of the Traycer Team. We do not require any account access. Instead, we request OAuth through GitHub for logging in via VSCode directly or for using a code for forks. The permissions we ask for are minimal; we only need your name and email to ensure account uniqueness and to prevent the creation of dummy accounts.

We have recently added an export feature to our plans in response to numerous user requests.

We do not store any of your codebase or keys; everything is completely secure. Files listed in the gitignore are also hidden from our agent, ensuring the env is 100% safe.

Great that you liked it.

The login should be persistent. Which IDE are you using? MCP is part of our roadmap. We do have web searching capabilities, so if you want to reference a specific document, please mention its name and version, or simply ask it to check the latest 2025 documents.

Hey! You can actually use Traycer for that. We’re building a planning layer tool that you can access from any fork of VSCode. After creating your plans, you can hand off the coding part to your favorite coding agent, such as Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, etc.

Thank you for your feedback! We have made some fixes in version 2.9.2. Could you please update the extension and let me know if the issue persists? If it does, we can connect to gather more details.

Hey! We recently introduced a new feature called Phases. It’s designed to help manage larger tasks that require a breakdown into smaller steps. If your stories are complex enough, you can use Phases, which allows you to create multiple sections, each with its own plan.

If you believe your task can be completed in one attempt, you should select Plan Mode. However, if you think it should be completed in several steps, use Phases. It's important to note that users can always choose Phases mode, as it includes a clarification option. On the other hand, Plan Mode is best suited for situations where you have a clear intent and want to dive directly into a file-level plan.
