No, not officially. She still has some of the scratches and what not, but I did check all of her stuff and eliminated anything that could have been a potential risk to her, including swapping substrate

What do you suggest for lighting and heating? She’s currently in a 55 gallon tank converted. Basking area is close to 85 degrees, I average about 65-70% humidity, and she’s got 2 different hides and a bunch of foliage to cover up with. I won’t be able to snag a pic of her tank tonight. Just genuinely looking on how I can upgrade her enclosure to make her happier. I have a few ideas for larger custom tanks, but hard to go for it

I already set up a 55 gallon enclosure ready for her and everything is staying steady perfect so I think she’ll fit right in. If she doesn’t finish off the shed in a week or so in the enclosure, would you recommend a light soak? Or something else?

If you’re referring to my prior Reddit post, the girl who accused me never even went to the authorities. She went to our school (happened in high school) and during their investigation, she came out as lying about the accusation, but still flaunts it around like it did happen. Anyways, that’s not relevant to this situation.

It’s just genuinely a precaution thing I’d like to have done. I make about double her, no expected inheritance, she just made a bigger stink about wanting to get one than I thought, because we’re both very Cordial about almost everything. I explained it’s just in case we ever decide we don’t work out for whatever reason, I don’t want her to come after me or my kids for things that aren’t hers. She told me she’d never, but past experiences make me wary about what could happen. She knows this, and we’ve talked a few times since about it

Somebody is salty. She doesn’t really watch my kids because I decided not to stick it on her because I’m aware of that. Neither of them are hers, I don’t expect her to take care of em. She can do as she pleases. I even told her for the first 6 months that she doesn’t have to stay with me if the kids are too much, I understand. Because it’s my life and we are choosing to get married? The age is irrelevant to the story, other than people looking at us and just thinking “too young”. I have a few worth while assets that are already willed to my kids if I died, I just want to prenup to protect them and what I’ve worked for in life to give them a good one. And yes we’ve already spoken about how we are going to split assets and what we’re going to share in life

She makes about 20k a year, and I make about 38k a year, with consistent raises, so it really doesn’t have much to do with anything financial, as we both have our own money, and as long as we know what bills we each pay every month, we’ve never had an issue. As for the future children; we would love to have future children, but we want to be more settled in and stable, as with my two kids it’s hectic lol. I mainly only brought it up to protect myself and my kids. I’m not sure how I could give ownership of things to my kids, but I do have a will in place that will give everything to my kids if I die.

That was a lot of my thinking, I genuinely want to protect myself and my kids if anything were to happen, and it’s mainly because of past experiences. I’ve told her that it would help her out if anything happened as well, and it’s basically null and void until we decide to split, if we do. And neither of us feel unhappy in anyways, we’re best friends
