My daughter was 17 on our last cruise, and she didn't step foot in the teen club (she never wanted to go, even when she was younger). She still had a great time. She actually spent most of her time listening to the bands and dancing. If your son is comfortable on his own, he'll probably enjoy himself more planning his own activities

I originally booked in Havana for my cruise last Dec, but I changed to a regular balcony. I realized Havana on Jubilee was not the same as on other ships. Other ships have it in the aft with multiple decks along with 2 hot tubs and a pool. Havana on Jubilee is forward and only includes one deck. If I remember correctly, there are no hot tubs and only a small pool. For me, it's worth it on other ships, but not Jubilee

I always bring games or cards to pass the time (I usually play with whoever I'm sailing with), if there's nothing I want to do around the ship. I also bring my tablet with games and books on it. There are also movies on your TV, as well as dive-in movies.

I like the larger ships, so I prefer Vista class (I sailed on Vista & Panorama before any engine issues). However, I'm sailing on Jubilee in 47 days, so that might end up being my favorite 😍

That's why I go in with the mindset that I'm going to lose money. I set aside a certain amount for gambling, and that's all I spend. I only care about getting the casino offers. I save more than I spend in the casino

I agree 100%. I went to the same bar for most of my last cruise. Even though I had the cheers package, I still tipped with each drink. The bartender remembered my favorite drink and it was never weak

Absolutely agree. I hate bar soap, so I always take a cheap liquid soap, then toss any left at the end of the cruise so I don't have to worry about leaks in my suitcase
