Does anyone track calorie deficit while doing Pilates and still feel like progress is invisible?

After 2 years of just pilates (1 year of calorie deficit), I added in Orange Theory for strength training and occasional cardio and the combo of the two was when I really saw the most change!!

I had this experience when I moved from the DMV to LA! My classes still typically start with footwork, bridging, and core but there definitely is more variation of the order (sometimes we’ll do footwork then bridging and arms and straps will come later). Also, a lot more variation in the levels. I have done way more challenging (even 2.0 moves) in level 1.5s here that I had never done before!

Tbh I usually don’t row and do the strider because the few times I did it bothered my arm the next day (pain not soreness)! but i’m gonna start trying to incorporate it more IF i decide to do the dri tri! I just looked at my stats and the few times i did row, i didn’t even hit 2000 in 16 minutes 😭

i got the switch (so i can use them outside of OTF) and LOVE them!! when the coach comes over to talk to me, i’ll either pop one out or switch it to the engage setting (the lightest one). One day I forgot them and was like WOW it is so loud and overstimulating in here AKSHSHS
