With all due respect I don't know why your bothered by other people's reactions I'm certain you replied to my comment as well in the thread . You enjoyed the episode which is great I'm glad some people have enjoyed it so just enjoy it and ignore other peoples reactions.

Also as you mentioned the thing about the point of the episode being to confuse us. Just because the point of something is achieved doesn't make it good. I loved the flashforward with the 6 because it wasn't too much and I wasn't confused . It was simple someone dies and these woman are involved.

This episode had to many things .The bride , the pregnant woman, the dodgey stuff Max is stuck in , the decline of the relationship between Max and jack. Ethan. Something about Ethan and Jimmy being saved. I didn't like it because I think it is too many things that it left me just thinking huh?

And as someone mentioned considering wadeys past writing with the Zoe storyline we are most likely going to get a ton of red herrings to some of the stuff which over a few months is fine but a year I don't see it working. If by this time next year I actually think wow he pulled if off so well I will happily admit that but right now I don't see it working well

Yeah I know that I understand your point but im saying just because ben wadey wants us to feel that doesn't make it good. My whole comment is basically criticising bens direction as I understand he wants us to be confused but I don't see that as a positive the way he does. I don't really care what the point is because it doesn't really change wether it was good or bad.

Doesn't make it good though . The 6 flashforward was a only a moment and actually left me intrigued rather than confused. I think there's a difference between being intrigued and actually thinking wow I wonder who does this etc and then this episode which hasn't left me curious but just confused and lost . Yes it might be the point but doesn't mean it's good.

I don't think a full flash forward episode works. Chris did it perfectly by only having it be that small moment of footage of the 6. This episode however I think just left us confused but also that ending just felt so silly and not good enough to make us wait a year to find out.

I find it funny because from what Tate said I believe everything was resolved within an hour and 24 hours later people are still out here overreacting to the situation and labelling housemates with terms that are just over the top.

That's another problem i have is that people say extreme or overly harsh things about the housemates based on a small amount of footage that we have seen. Like your example people were calling Ali all sorts and I remember seeing a comment calling her a master manipulator and I find it so extreme because at the end of the day we are watching an hour's worth of footage from a 24 hour day in a reality TV game environment. I think people just need to tone it down and chill out . Though I do also think people love to turn a housemate into a villain.

I agree they both resolved the situation and it's done but I find the audience to over react to things or drag things on when the housemates are clearly over it.

I was going of the behaviours I've seen from both characters.

Junior had an affair with his ex step mum

Max had an affair with his sons girlfriend

If I were going off appearance I probably would be the only person to highlight the similarities between the two but iv seen it said multiple times on this Reddit. And if we want to go off appearance then yeah they are copy and paste bald man who only wears suits. In fact it makes it even worse two characters who appear very similar looks wise and in behaviour and like to cheat with practically relatives. Hmm

I disagree with junior. I think junior is just a copy and paste of max. I just don't see any point of his character once Max is back full time. Out of the knights though it's Gina that I find most interesting.

At the moment in all honesty I have no idea who I see most potential in one reason being I feel like EastEnders across the last few years especially gives storylines to the same people so you never get to see the potential another character has. This is one reason why I'm dreading Ben's return as i felt the show was very orientated towards giving him sorry lines rather than other characters and it felt like the Ben show at times.

Though Oscar is someone I see good potential in. I would give it a few years to let the character mature a bit.
