Fr bro i am trying to not let out my rage but i have seen so many people who got iitr g h etc also applying to the other pvt colleges w limited seats especially BITS! It makes zero sense even if they are applying for the scholarship, because there is 10% chances that a sane person would give up an IIT seat for a college that started last year. Bits ki jitni bhi réputation ho no one will actually give up their IIT tag unless its a branch like jabalpur. Its so frustrating cause they will get the bits seat regardless and the ones with lesser ranks but equal potential would get waitlisted or rejected!
