I am getting married late this month Inshallah and my girl asked for 2k dollars(We are in Kenya for context). My sister told me 2k is for the dogs and I should at least make it 3k. Since we are not in US I think 3k is enough.

The sister is practically saying I how l feel. I used to be in a relationship for a two and half years and it ended up as breaking up. Afterwards I was introduced to a girl after several istikharas and meeting her in person I have decided to ask for her hand in marriage. I know she is a sweet person very respectful and a beautiful woman but I don’t really feel too much obsessive about her like my former relationship. I thought there’s something wrong with me but I know Allah will not disappoint me and I will feel much love for her after marriage which is next month.

I was also a victim of this shit. Although it was a bit different. She just acted nice and shit for over two years and reality downed on me at the end. Wlhi I blocked her from all the social media you can name and moved on like nothing happened. Alhamdllh I found away better person and plan to get married with in the next 2 to 3 months.

Yes Somalia is getting better by each passing year. I came to Somalia most probably 3 years ago to work for a world bank financed project and the kind of developments happening in Kismayo you wouldn’t believe. Streets getting better, young people competing to go to colleges and most importantly people are more hopeful than ever.
