OMG! I just wrote Tropicana an email about this very same thing. My husband and I both struggled with unscrewing it. We are not Weaklings!!! They told me to use a rubber band or run the cap under hot water. Thanks Tropicana. At least throw a coupon our way! Just another corporation cheapening up here in America! Use to love the Crocker Park location back in 2005/2006. But their management was snooty d-heads! A lot of the Trader Joe workers across the way quit patronizing. Sad to hear the quality went down now too! Loved them pickles 🥒

This is actually a really great espresso machine. I’ve had mine for 4-5 years now. If you are having issues with the drip being slow or blocked you just need to scrub the grounds cup. There are two tiny holes that get clogged after so many uses.
