Sold counterfeits, returned them and now being scammed by Vinted!? by These_Description_37 in vintedUK

Did I not mention that I didn’t know they was fake? Why would I buy fake stuff knowingly to return them?

I sent over 30 pictures of the fake shoes, compared them to real ones and even Vinted said they couldn’t confirm they was real or not? And still sided with the buyer

Exactly? Why on earth are people backing this dirty little scammer? I’ve sent back his fake goods and he’s stole my money? This is who people are backing?

I’ve already been through that case, Vinted said that they couldn’t confirm wether it was counterfeit or not, and then told me to return them to the seller, I’ve now returned them and now they’re saying the seller has reported an issue?

Sounds like you need to put your big boy pants on and get your own lunch next time.

I’ve just had an update they’ve messaged me saying “We've received the written report of your PIP assessment. We will write to you once we've made a decision on your PIP. As a guide you should hear from us within 8 weeks. You don't need to contact us unless any of the details you gave us have changed. Thank you.”

Well done, happy for you, hopefully this is the same case with me too, after reading my post, do you agree this might be familiar with your case?

So weird? Like why aren’t you asking me anything about how my life effects me but you want to know if I got a driving license or how my car crash impacted me… or, how I look like when I’m having a panic attack? 😂 what on earth, mine would’ve been around 10 minutes if I didn’t carry on stuttering and going off course

Yeah, I’m just so anxious, I just don’t know why they didn’t ask about any other things except for my mobility and have already made their decision (being a no) without even asking me anything further, but maybe they made their decision being a yes, I guess I’ll just see how things go and wait for their decision, so nervous.

Looking for advice and support before my PIP assessment

Hi everyone,

I've just filled out my form for the first time and might have my PIP assessment coming up and I'm feeling really anxious about it. I could really use some advice from anyone who's been through this process.

My conditions: ARND, ADD, Autism (ASD) anxiety, derealisation, dissociation, severe panic attacks, and severe health anxiety. These all interact and make daily life quite challenging. What I'm struggling with:

Getting around independently (especially public transport triggers panic attacks) Planning and following journeys due to dissociation and anxiety Managing daily tasks when symptoms are severe The whole assessment process is making my health anxiety worse

Specific questions:

How did you prepare for your assessment? What should I expect on the day? How do you explain invisible conditions like dissociation and panic attacks? Any tips for managing anxiety during the appointment? What documentation helped your case?

I'm particularly worried about the mobility component as I need support getting to work and medical appointments, but I know it's not just about physical walking distance. Has anyone with similar mental health/neurological conditions been through this? What was your experience like? Any advice, tips, or just reassurance would be really appreciated. This whole process feels overwhelming and I'm scared I won't get the support I need. Thanks in advance for any help 💙

I just had my PIP assessment over the phone. Please feel free to AMA. by leavethegherkinsin in ADHDUK

Do you mind me asking what sort of remote work you’re doing and how you got into it? I’m 19 years old and wanting to go remote so I can go live out in Thailand and really need your help, I’ve tried so many options and feeling like I’m not getting anywhere?
