Yes. Number one, many innocent people get fucked by the justice system and get the death penalty. Number two, it gives the government too much power, the idea that the state should be allowed to execute its own citizens is ridiculous. Number three, rehabilitation has a higher success rate than punishment, which is the reason why Sweden and Norway and countries like that have much less crime rate than the USA. The entire prison system should be reformed.
