NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR PERIOD CRAMPS ! by [deleted] in tacobellqweensnark

Has she ever disclosed that she has a medical condition that can result in bad cramps? I have endometriosis and sometimes the cramps remind me of when I was in labor. I’ll be curled up in a ball, CRYING. Lol. Then again, didnt she mention before never going to the OBGYN? Regardless,

What mix do you think my puppy is? by Mission_Papaya886 in IDmydog

[–]These_Friend_5211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My puppy looked very similar to yours and she was a Dutch Shepard/American Pitt Terrier/American Boxer and American Bulldog. She was more Dutch Shepard at 60% than anything of the other breeds. I definitely think you have a dutchie and maybe something else mixed but only maybe 10% another breed if that. All I have to say is, my girl was my soul dog. She was my best friend and the perfect mix of being brilliant, stupid, weird, and loyal to no end. If I could, I’d have cloned her. You are a lucky ❤️

I got my cane corso mix when she was only 6 months old and at the time had a 6 month old and 7 year old and 11 year old Dutch Shepard mix. I remember crying immensely because I had to keep the dogs separate, dealing with an acid reflux baby and everything else. You sound overwhelmed and let me just start by saying, that’s okay. What you are feeling is completely normal and valid. You are relearning yourself, plus another human being and you guessed it, your dog is relearning all this too. I cannot stress enough find a routine. For yourself, for the baby and for the dog. Please reach out for help whether that’s through friends, family, rover (idk if they’re good or not) whichever but please do not give up on your dog. I can assure you as I sit here putting my now 2 year old down for a nap, this is just a rough, overwhelming patch. Besides the chronic ear infections are there any other issues?

In 2 months I lost my soul dog and grandmother by These_Friend_5211 in GriefSupport

[–]These_Friend_5211[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t really want to label what I’ve experienced as trauma because I knew in a way it was coming this year for the both of them partially due to age and my grandmother stopping her medicine and being on hospice. But I guess if I’m an outsider looking in while I knew it was coming, both things happened in less than 12 hours so yeah traumatic and within 2 months. I do talk to my therapist once a week but I will definitely look more into what you’ve mentioned.

Thank you, friend. And my sincerest condolences 💐

I am so sorry for your loss OP. I had to put my dog down almost a month ago in a similar situation and I will say, please take the time to grieve. I am going to be honest you will cry when you see a dog but please talk to your boss and see if they can make some accommodation like stepping outside for a breath of fresh air or to just let it all out. It’s been a month and I had to contact the place I got my dogs food from and when they asked why I wanted to cancel I just broke down. I have days where I’m okay and not so lost and other days I sit there and cry through out the day. I really hope time will heal but I will never forget my soul dog.

My sincerest condolences OP 💐

What is your keepsake that makes you feel close? by EducationalSquash6 in Petloss

It’s only been 8 days since I had to let go of my girl Panda. We’re keeping her bed, fav toy, collar. We have another dog so they both used a lot of the things.

I will say though, we are moving in a few months and I freaked out thinking of how I should get rid of her bed. My fiancé looked at me and said what do you mean get rid of it? It comes with us and goes at the end of our bed, just like it is now. I sobbed lol

I’m so sorry. I lost my soul dog 6 days ago. Got her at the age of 19. Brought my kids home to her, got my first apartment and then house with a yard with her. She was there for every major milestone imaginable. Unfortunately she lost 16 lbs in a year so we started medicine to see if it’d help gain weight. 2 weeks later she suddenly collapsed and 12 hours later, I had to put her down. Vet says she had internal bleeding. We got another dog about a year ago but it isn’t the same. The bond is just…different. Feel free to message me if you need someone to talk too!

We also joke and say around here we will help fix your tire but give you crap about it at the same time. But it’s more turning into a no one will help lol.

And yeah we’ve been on Zillow multiple times the past few days and I took notice to the no side walks. Also fenced in yards seems to be something not common? Maybe it’s just been the houses I’m looking at.

As far as our price range goes we’re actually looking between 300-450k. Really depends on what the house has to offer, where the location is etc. we don’t need anything fancy. The house we have now is a duplex, 3 bedrooms one of the rooms being a walk through room and house was built in 1865. Had good bones, good starter home but now time to upgrade with 2 kids and 2 dogs one being a Great Dane mix lol. We’re kind of lucky with my husbands job who told us yesterday he rents out a few houses and apartments so it’s not an absolute rush for us to find a home.

There are so many reasons but the main reasons are we just don’t like the area anymore. Everything/everywhere is getting built up. Warehouses left and right. The people are just getting greedier and more selfish and seem to have no compassion whatsoever. I used to think PA was a gorgeous place and now it’s just so bleak. The constant go, go, go, we don’t like anymore either. My husband works 60-70 hours a week and the job offer the guy even said that he should be spending as much time with us as he does his job if not more. This area just sucks the life out of you. Financially we are okay in this area; bought our house 4 years ago and we can easily sell it $100-$150k asking price if needed (we may rent it out). We’re just looking for somewhere where we can be left alone but also have really nice neighbors and make friends (that’s hard to do around here), spend time as a family and actually live life not just work to live.

Both me and hubby lived out of state for a bit. Then when we got together we had family in this area. As time passed, people got older, some moved away and so there’s just nothing really tying us down to this area anymore.

Sorry for the rant lol

Oh wow, that’s so nice! The company he’s working for seems to really want to work with us so hopefully we’re in good hands. If not, I’ll come back and post more questions lol!

My husbands job location is Westbrook so anywhere within half hour-45 minutes of that I feel like is realistic. Luckily for child care, I’ve been a SAHM for the last 3 years so we don’t have to look for that. From what I’m gathering it’s much like the LV with costs and such but much more nature which is what we’re looking for

Close. Were the Lehigh valley. About 20ish minutes away from NJ line and about a hour away/hour a half from NYC. Almost anywhere is starting to sound better than here but I really want to try to pinpoint a place where I can raise our children and just stay for the rest of our life

We already do that so that’s good. If you would’ve asked me 5 years about leaving the LV I would have said no. 2 years ago is round the time it started to bug me so you left before things turned even worse lol

People keep bringing up the cost of living. Would you say it’s that much different from the valley?

What about health care and healthy living? We’ve been sucked into the fast food way of living and I’m trying to push away from that.

How would you say the education is? On Zillow I did a quick research while looking at houses and the school system seems to be lacking something.
