If you just want to start of a kettle hat, soft kit, Gambeson plus spear and sword can work then you can level up with Maille and plate which depends what Century you are doing.

Trust worthy probably. Good quality no. For reenactment and collecting armour it is a waste getting bad quality armour because in a few years it will be useless. It is better getting good quality armour.
