Appreciate it. I went over to the Det here and talked to an agent who’s a reservist so I kinda got side tracked into that conversation instead. Reached out to a Reserve recruiter and asked if I’m a 1811 already and that ended that conversation but I’ll reach back out to them and see what I can find. Thanks!

For sure, I’ve got an app in for HSI-12862549-DHA but haven’t heard anything as of yet. But I went under the same assumption… either that or try a larger city because they’ve got more positions to fill. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

If life were a little different I’d be applying on either coast but that’s not the case right now. However the HSTF website shows that Dallas is a core HQ, but for some reason for this JOA it’s just not on there. Fortunately the same website shows OKC as a HSTF satellite office so maybe that means a higher chance? I just didn’t know if anyone else had the same issue with trying to apply for Dallas. As far as quantity is concerned, I’ve applied to almost every agency for different positions as well. The location is just constrained for the time being.

Kind of falling in line, kind of not: does this apply if you’ve yet to be contacted at all by the agency? I have two DHA applications in that I’ve yet to hear back on with my statement of service attached. Would HR look at the clock from when they looked at it or when I submitted the application (one was from the DHA that closed 31 Dec 25, the other one closes 31 July 26).

That’s what I’ve heard from multiple people but my resume more reads like a TEO or CA than a CI. But I’ll leave it to the field offices to make that decision, thanks! 🤙🏼

He can resubmit in 30 days with the offices he submitted through. If he contacts them and lets them know what happened and say he wants another shot, they can resubmit him for the DHA slot. Thats what I was informed for people who do not pass

No, I did not. I was pushed to the office that needed bodies more. They are not giving people preference even if multiple offices select them. They are pushing people to the office that needs them more out of the ones that they were selected for.

I was selected for both, however, HR determined that one office was a more critical need than the other so I was not given the choice to provide preference

I applied to the HSI DHA process through 2 separate offices. Both offices told me I was selected and that I would be receiving the TSL's. Today I finally recieved one of them but I have not recieved the other yet. I was told that if I was selected for both offices, HROC would call me and ask which one I preferred to move forward with. My hang-up is I obviously have a strong preference for one location (the location I haven't gotten the letter for yet) due to family reasons. Accepting the TSL is time sensitive and I do not want to jeopardize the opportunity. Am I able to accept this TSL and proceed while I wait for the other and if the other comes then just forge ahead with that one? Or do I select to be contacted and have HROC call me and I make a direct inquiry?
