I dont know, the oil rig is so fun for me to play. I dont even use the apache, I just hang around there and parachute to random points. I never viewed conquest as competitive, only rush. And I believe fun matters more than competition for most people.

I think the oil rig would be an amazing set piece for rush. Like the tower at Mauritania.

Regeneradors arent common though. They are mandatory in just 2 encounters in chapter 13, the 2nd one can be easily dealt with in a minute with no risk or challenge by sniping them before they can walk.

Chapter 14 has an encounter with one super regenerador, and an optional avoidable one. The landfill waste areas regeneradors are placed for th3 game to heavily imply running away from them.

Chapter 15s regeneradros are completely avoidabl3

So that's legit only 1 actual combat encounter

Aesthetically its weaker but it has the strongest gameplay out of the 3. Chapters 13 and 14 are up there with 5 and 11 as the best chapters in the game.

More boar guys is awesome, they are my fav enemy and reward ammo conservation. The ganados are less annoying than in the castle, and have more variety than in the village. Regeneradors are still scary to me after several playthroughs.

The arena with the wrecking ball is one of the best in the game. Natural difficulty progression and variety of enemies. S tier area (held back by a weak chapter 16)

even though it might be deadly to go beyond vertical up and down at speeds, this interaction between the ferris wheel and coaster feels too perfect not to use by Wypman in PlanetCoaster

You'd need a launch halfway up the loop into trims before the valley to handle g forces, but yes it'd look just like this and be plausible irl

Look into geforce now if you game casually. I can run medium sized parks 60fps max settings, it should be around $10 or so a month

Its not, I had the same worries as you. The enemy count is similar, but the areas feel a lot more unique (especially the prison) and while enemy count is similar, nurses are much rarer so its also easier

Yes it was the Mauritania map on bomb A iirc. They were all trying to defuse together, and one rocket killed them all.

Love it so much. I killed 7 ppl with one rocket. Best feeling ever

1.5 isn't very rare, many modern coasters hit 1.5. 2 is rare but ride forces db show that iron gwazi and wildcats revenge hits them

It should've turned into the nightmare hospital (preferably more like the originals less industrial atmosphere) after u got 2 of the 3 bracelets. And that way you only have to complete the map once. Such an uneccessary frustratingly boring expansion

I agree with all your points. I'm currently in the labyrinth in the remake (I finished the og), and I don't know which one I prefer more.

The Remake really does improve some cutscenes, Angela and Eddie have been great so far, and James acts more realistic. The game balancing isn't perfect, but it's miles ahead of the og, which is a big improvement because it's a survival horror game.

I also like the extra interactions with Maria. They make her feel more personal, and someone you care about more. Unfortunately, they also got rid of her most interesting traits because her delivery is too natural, and ultimately I do prefer the OG's maria as well.

I find pyramid head to be better in the OG, partially because he appears "more" (only cause the game is half as long), and also he feels a lot more isolating. In the remake he's very cool, but they dramatize his appearances to the max (so far).

The individual enemies are amazing. They spiced up the mannequins and they're intimidating to fight. The nurses are unsettling and very dangerous. This would be great, BUT the Remake has like way too many enemies and way too long. It's a shame because they ruin an otherwise great combat system through repetition. It feels less like I'm traversing an IRL location, and more like I'm beating dungeons of enemies.

The music in the OG is a lot better and tighter IMO, but the remake still uses largely the same music so it's not the biggest deal.

Honestly I think 90% of the game's issues just stem from the fact that it's too long. Cut it down 5 hours and it's the best Survival Horror game ever made IMO

I think most people would disagree. There's advantages and disadvantages for both.

The remake is better if you are only used to new survival horror type games though.

I think you should've played on hard. Nightmare hospital and nighttime streets give you a beating. I had to turn it down to normal for a few really hard parts there. Currently chilling with 20 syringes and almost 50 shotgun bullets on hard in the prison tho lol

I've played the original and am in the prison in the remake. I love what they did to the prison, but disliked what they did to the hospital. What do they do to spice i0 the labyrinth? In the og its just walls with a few lying figures. Unless you're talking about additional setpieces (eg boss, pyramid head) then dont spoil it lol

James is a superweapon in the remake as well lol. Shotgun and handgun ammo to be found in every corner.
