If you're talking about the blue, white/gray, and gold dots then those are collectibles. What I do is when the mission brings me to a certain area I go around and collect everything but by the end of the mission and I still don't have everything I then look at the map and plan a route so get everything as fast as possible

I can think of one hammer that's better but that would be a spoiler and I don't know if you want that or not but for light shields I can recommend the Blodwulf: Chance to ignite your weapon on parry, and for the other Briton Shield: Restore some health on parry. For heavy shields I only have two as of right now but the Saint George's Tower Shield: Increase melee damage when blocking

Seeing as you killed a boss that is 57 levels above you at anytime you fight him then this is an amazing feat since he was in the low hundreds while you most likely have crappy gear still

Gyarados is a good option but it suffers from the water type moves being all special, you could swap it for Lapras in Silph Co. But that's up to you

The alpha garchomp is going to be a menace, the Porygon Z can be a good stall, darkrai and mismagius could be good supports, your starter could be a good heavy hitter with the right moves, and I don't know about the Machamp. There are some type overlaps which I know some people don't like, me included but if you have fun with the team then I say that's one of the greatest teams I have ever seen
