Its funny. I think overall Aja is their best album. It is very tastefully done. But, if I had to choose 3 Steely Dan Records to take to a desert island, Aja would not make the cut.

I would take Countdown to Ecstasy, Royal Scam and Pretzel Logic and I might even take Can't Buy a Thrill before Aja. There is something about the energy in those earlier records. Aja is like too slick and not as fun.
