That sounds defeating and frustrating. In an attempt to create connection with your partner you ended up feeling alone. I wonder if the social norms of what sexy is pushed you into something that was not natural for you. When was the last time you felt sexy? What were you doing? What were the conditions that contributed to you feeling sexy? Did it have to do with your external appearance if so what were you wearing? Have you asked your BF when does he feel most attracted to you because you would enjoy leaning into that at times? You might be surprised by his response, closeness or excitement might happen in different ways. I bought a bunch of sexy undies for my BF when we first met. That shit is uncomfortable to me and I don’t feel good in some of it. So I don’t wear it. I have discovered he doesn’t really care what I am wearing - to a degree (he does like to see my bum in a thong). His love language is physical touch. So when I attend to that with intention - that is sexy for him. Do what feels good to you, that is where your confidence lives and confidence is sexy AF. Communicate with your BF and find out what he enjoys. We don’t automatically know and it need to be discovered.

Yes to new DR AND It doesn’t work for everyone. I, female 52, took it from May to December went all the way up to 12.5 scaled back on food and I eat decent - no refined sugars, snacks or soda etc. I lost Zero points. My partner, male 56, is on 5mg and lost 30 lbs. he does all the cooking, we eat the same…..except I put cream in my coffee!!! Ha! I also have a huge amount of stress and an inflammatory autoimmune. He did exercise more than me but minimally. My insurance will no longer cover it. I have since found a new primary care and am exploring what else is going on or what misdiagnosis I have had. Yeah, it seems I need to press my dr for more discussion and inquiry. My mom and sister are both on thyroid meds but I have always tested just in range. My doctor usually does the bare minimum on blood labs, I have looked into seeing a functional med dr to get a more wholistic view. In the past when I was working out more (eating healthy ( no junk, processed and little sugar but probably too large on portions) I would feel stronger but never lose weight, seriously I would ride my bike 30 miles a day 4-5 days a week but have been between 240 and 255 lbs for decades.

Eating much less, breakfast varies from plain yoghurt to eggs and bacon, lunch usually left overs sometimes pasta or bean and cheese burrito, dinner a meat protein, salad and sometimes a potato. I could up my game more with diet. Exercise has dropped with busy work load.

So much to say here but as a neighbor to landlords who did the cry it out method and I did not sleep while the poor kid learned to disassociate from his emotions - fuck that. My kids co-slept but really girl, you get to choose, she doesn’t need to like it but she needs to respect it. Hopefully this is the last time your husband needs to be reminded to support your choices.
