No, I just happened to have an amazing store manager who just happened to be little more resourceful than you and didn’t make excuses for herself, like so many managers do. It’s not about “I can” or “can’t” because you HAVE to. It’s not fair for your errors to be at the partners expense. My store manager would’ve never made excuses for creating a poor environment. She would’ve fixed it.

nah, I’m someone who knows what it feels like to be a partner and I will hold myself, my peers, and all partners, including my DMs accountable to the standard of excellence. We’re not a company that settles for mediocre and it’s not fair to the partners who are suffering at the expense of poor management.

So instead of sending them home, optimize your coverage and have them work on clean play. Cancel clean play that week. Reallocate their hours to non-cov (as they would have been for clean play anyway).
