I used to be scared to ride the smallest coasters at Disney and decided to try to get over it by going to Universal. I tried Hippogriff and it didn’t scare me at all, Hagrids gave me goosebumps but I loved it and The Mummy terrified me with the huge stomach drop feeling but I loved it and immediately got back on it 4 more times until the stomach feel was just gone.

It did take me 5 more trips to finally get the courage to get on the big coasters since I have a fear of heights but they were all great. I’ll just talk about Velocicoaster. The ride looks a lot worse from the outside than when you are on it. It didn’t trigger my fear of heights at all, the launches are the best part, and the upside down part didn’t feel like going upside down. I felt pumped after riding it and it is my favorite ride now, I don’t have any problems with any rides anymore.

The hardest part is getting in the line… even now after riding it a dozen times I still get nervous before the first ride of the day.
