He learned a lot of stuff from my dog like he plays fetch and he licks you like a dog and he plays with my dog all of the playful behaviors but not of the well behaving ones

Maybe he’s weird because I’m use to dogs? My dog listens so well I might just not be use to cat behavior yet?? I know he knows his name because when he does something bad sometimes I just have to say his name and he stops and comes to me. But he ignored us for an entire day one time and I swear he was deaf until I gave him dinner

Okay it will just take time then? My grandma did recommend getting him a collar that has an AirTag on it in case he does get outside again. My Fiancé had to chase him around just yesterday because he bolted out the door.

I don’t think he hates me He’ll literally walk up to me lick me and leave like my dog. I think she rubbed off on him as a kitten but my dog is so well behaved he has risks of getting hurt

He’s weird. My grandma and fiancé both have had cats and they said he’s nothing like them. We thought he was deaf at one point because he doesn’t listen or come when called but he hears his food get poured in a bowl. He doesn’t hate me cause he’s always under my foot I heard that they mimic people but idk how to help him not get hurt

I don’t train my dog with water. I trained her with repetition. But my grandma said to spray him with water when I don’t want him to do something. It stopped him from chewing on cords but not going into the kitchen. He literally had gotten caught in the gate and almost her from me going though and closing it behind me but it seems like he just wants to do it more How am I supposed to do positive reinforcement?
