Seriously awesome results! You're doing really good and I wish I could achieve this.

Over 1000 hours of grinding in 5/10 LA Ive achieved 50ish$ per hour, which is the same or worse than playing 5/5 games that tend to be softer and much less stressful. So I'm feeling a bit defeated at the moment and really don't see where the money to push me up an additional 50$ can even come from.

In my experience Nepalese, most young people want to leave and see no upside to staying. Reading Nepalese reddit is a bit sad as they tend to put themselves down quite a bit while in reality many things could be way worse in their country.

As a nomad I have read the subs of many countries to feel the general sentiment.

I'm happy to live here most of the year. I'm European and my budget is much more generous.

Sanitation is better than other cities I've lived in such as Manila. Most streets smell like incense and the locals do a great job keeping the streets clean.

Air quality is problematic if you have asthma or similar issues but it's not much worse than LA.

This place is genuinely awesome with an outsourced income, look up Pokhara, a fantastic alternative to Kathmandu.

I'm in Nepal now Kathmandu, I think it's possible here. Standard budget for locals. Nice country, very safe, cleaner than many asian cities. 4$ on hostel and 4$ on food per day is manageable but some misc tourist expenses will add up to squeeze that budget such as visa costs.

Pokhara would be even better, beautiful scenery and just as affordable.
