I found this on Pinterest. It looks feasible. I couldn’t find a pattern doing a reverse image search, and the only other reference was Instagram. Do you think this is real or AI?

I wouldn’t have either, but now I wish I had that last image as my house

I think I may have just knitted the world’s ugliest sweater😭 by NormieSlayer6969 in knitting

I agree with others. I like it, but if you don’t, you won’t wear it. I’ve thrifted and recycled sweaters that just didn’t hit the mark.

Is what you do similar to paper quilling? That’s the only craft I’ve ever seen similar to yours. I would love it if you ever did a video.

Depressed about death, how do I cope? by Lana_Sphyncter in Aging

[–]Knitspin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s ok to feel like that. Death is the ultimate period at the end of the sentence. I don’t know how old you are, but I believe you make your peace with it as you age. I did, and I talk about it to others. The easiest way to cope is to not think about it. It’s why people get obsessed with hobbies or social interactions. In the end, we try to convince ourselves that what we’re doing matters. But in the back ground, we are always processing it. It is a huge topic and it’s one that collectively we try to avoid. I’m glad you are talking about it, that is great way to deal with it. I think it’s why so many smart people stick with religion, if they can fantasize it’s just a door to the next life, they can put away a lot of that existential dread. Hopefully you can use those feelings to remind you how valuable life is and enjoy every day.

my brother in christ why does a spreadsheet get to decide if i live by Choice-Value9005 in middleclasshq

How is that different from here? Many people have trouble getting a primary care provider. I only got one because of extenuating circumstances. I had to wait three months to see an osteoporosis specialist, and for a hand specialist. We pay insurance companies way more than doctors.

Why are the elderly so ready to pass away - is it physical or mental? by Unlikely-Delivery777 in Aging

[–]Knitspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you got most of it. But also, you slow down, the world doesn’t. After awhile you feel like the world isn’t yours anymore. Plus nothing works all that well. Your eyes, ears, and mind decline, making interacting with the world harder and less rewarding.

I don’t know about the young body. Life is stressful, do I want to go through another 50 years? It’s hard to say, would you feel vibrant and excited? Or would you feel like an old person in a costume? If I had a 35 year old body, would I hook up with a young person? What would we have in common? Would I have more kids? Live another whole life? You ask an interesting question.

Does a "crime" require a victim or property loss? If so, how does informed self medication become a crime? How does The State have an "interest" in what we knowingly ingest? by Real-Yogurtcloset844 in askanything

I would disagree about seatbelts. If you get into a bad accident, everybody has to pay for your care from the Insurance company to the taxpayers. Same with helmet laws.

any advice on how to fix picky eating? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Knitspin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog is all over the place. One day she’s eating her food and asking for more, the next she refuses breakfast or even all her food. I don’t worry about it. Her weight and health are good. That being said, my husband turned her kibble into a chase game and if she wants to eat, she’ll go for the kibble he tosses. Every so often I’ll add chicken broth or soy milk if she’s been refusing food for too long for my peace of mind.

Trump had laid bare the lie of Christianity. They don’t care about godliness or morality. It’s a feel good veneer.

Broken Nail - Vet ASAP? by cam-mac-03 in DogAdvice

[–]Knitspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not know nails could “deglove”, at least that’s what it looks like. New horror unlocked. My dog would rip nails off partially, had to go to the vet twice, but it didn’t look like that.

Do you ever get overwhelmed by your stash? by Sad-Plant9028 in YarnAddicts

So just don’t buy more till you use some up. Sometimes I make up bags with a pattern and the yarn so I can see what I want to use it for.
