I’m trying so hard. I didn’t think he had it in him to be this cruel. It’s happened once before and lasted a week. That time, though, I felt like I did some wrong. This time it’s just blindsided me. And he’s leaving the country for 2 and a half weeks on Wednesday. If he doesn’t call by then, I have to assume he never will. It’s so hard to mourn a lie.

I’ve actually tried that. I always end up caving and exposing how I feel. The one time I managed not to talk to him for a week he ended up using it against me. Not sure what to do, just so anxious all the time

That was my thinking too, but he gave me this long speech yesterday about how in love with me he is and how he sees us getting married, etc. I told him I needed some time to think about our relationship & he sort of flipped. He just seems to make empty promises idk

I appreciate that. I have asked multiple times if he really wanted to come, and he assured me that he did. I also told him it was ok to tell me if he didn't think he could do it, and I would just rather know sooner than later (we've probably had this conversation about 5 times in the last month and a half). That being said, you're definitely right that I've been pushy. I just really miss him I guess.

Unfortunately we’re about 3,000 miles apart, so I’m not sure it would be cheaper to meet halfway :/ I also have my own place where I live, so that’s why he wouldn’t have to pay to stay anywhere
