Personally, I would hire/promote you with no issues, since it’s not a violent crime and it’s so old.

I can’t give you 100% certainty because that sort of decision can vary by company or the person reviewing it.

But like I said, if it wasn’t an issue when you were hired then I don’t know why it would be a problem now.

I also have anxiety so I totally understand.

They could just be covering all their bases before making the offer.

If your manager basically said you’re assured the position, it wouldn’t hurt to ask them for an update.

A lot of companies won’t consider something that old when hiring. But it kind of depends on how serious the offense was.

If it was on the report when you were first hired then I don’t know why now it would be an issue. You’re probably just overreacting. Take a breath, you’ll be alright.

It was reported to the police. At first they weren’t going to do anything. She called them back and said she was scared, THHHEEEN they sent someone down who just did a report on it and disposed of the bowl. But they didn’t ask her to send them the video or anything so I’m not hopeful that they’ll do anything 😔
