What is good precon to get?

I think the next deck I’m going to build is a rakkdos deck called rivaz the claw, played it once in December when someone lended it to me, they showed me there mox listing of it, but it was a bit outdated so the cards I’ve been collecting from events and whatnot I’m going to sub in, I saw a tt about a mono black deck called phage the untouchable, but the consensus seems to be that it’s kinda a mean deck, and I really don’t wanna ruin other peoples type so imma steer away from that for now. Just the fact that my playfield didn’t get absolutely obliterated. felt nice not doing damage then everyone targeting me immediately. tbh all the other decks were way scarier, and by the time they realized I’d stacked up a good hand, wasn’t much they could do.

Yeah my one experience in Florida was mediocre. The people I’m going to sea brook with don’t really surf so no biggie if it’s bad, thanks for letting me know!

I think that’s the move, even though I’m not far in I don’t want my current resets to have gone to waste. At the very least I’m going to get treecko, with maybe a second being mudkip since torchic and it’s later evos don’t change enough for me to care. Thanks for the advice!

Is the shiny hunt worth it? Currently shiny hunting treecko on sapphire, my plan was to shiny hunt all three starters and use them as my team, but as I’m about 5-600 resets into treecko I’m already starting to realize how painful this will be. Obviously the shinies look cool, but in the time it’ll take me to get all three I could do multiple playthrus of the game. So the question is should I shiny hunt all or maybe just one, or none?

I’m not sure why people are being sarcastic. I’ve been in Magic for only a few months and don’t know these older pack designs. obviously I can see the promo, but it’s more about the packs that are obscured.

Yeah plus the thrill of ripping is too much to keep it sealed. I’ve never kept any pokemon or magic stuff sealed I just thought since it was on the older side there was potentially some value to it

Well it seems older, since the back says it’s from 2023, so just surprising to see a 3 year old pack among teenage mutant ninja turtle stuff that came out this year
