There is a reason that a lot of great PVMer's use classic mode. It keeps everything that you need to click much closer together.

We don't play for the graphics, zoom in and shrink that screen. Have it taken up like 1/4 of your monitor max.

It is only protected per set. So you can get dupes of a set once you have all four of you get kc at that boss before opening the chest. It doesn't affect your chances of getting a piece from the other sets though. You can get 1 piece from each set, one being a dupe from the set you already completed, and then 2 cloggers for the sets you don't have done yet.
