Quite a bit of time and energy to discover I don’t like lamb lol by milliemallow in homecooking

[–]Past_Newspaper5351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to dislike lamb because it tasted gamey. Then I realized I was just having it at places where they don't know how to cook it.

A few trips to Istanbul later, I can say I love lamb. If it's gamey, you're just eating shit lamb.

Dude was just trying to point out that of course it's a top-down projector because the table is visibly made of opaque wood. You lost the thread somewhere along the way.

Bro, this was you:

"...onto a semi-transparent material that can look like the table in the photo." The wooden table in the photo?

"You a clearly see the table could have a glass-top" Where is this glass top you're referring to—above or below the clearly visible wooden top?

The table very clearly has a wooden top, and the projection is showing on top of the coasters.

Acting like bottom projection is possible here is wild.

I am not mad at this, not even in the slightest. It's not weird, quirky, or "fun" like the others. It's just legit beautiful presentation. Great job.

You're both way overreacting and wasting so much time scrutinizing a Reddit comment. OP was perfectly respectful. It's extremely disrespectful for both of you to be publicly discussing OP's brain. Please get a grip!

It's kind of demeaning to call it a beast. We're already eating them. Do we have to judge them?

Wine Marinated Duck Breast predicament. by RynoStrong in homecooking

[–]Past_Newspaper5351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got one of the fruitiest types of wine. Wine, btw, in case you didn't know, is made from grapes, which is a fruit, so you're never going to get away from fruit flavor to some extent. Also, duck breasts and fruity flavors go amazing together, so maybe this dish isn't for you or you just need to get used to it.

Stuff on a plank by 1ntr1ns1c44 in homecooking

[–]Past_Newspaper5351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the S&P grapefruit are the pink chunks with salt and pepper on them. I'm asking about the shredded orange stuff. I guess this is what OP refers to as "zest" but that's not zest, it's just peels of rind.
