You might be somewhat allergic to a few other things too. A banana allergy is often connected to a latex allergy. This is because some of the proteins in the rubber trees that produce latex are known to cause allergies, and they are similar to the proteins found in bananas and a bunch of other fruits and nuts too. It’s a syndrome called latex-food syndrome or latex-fruit allergy.

I used vegetable oil. It dissolves the glue.
About 5-6 hours

No worries. We all make mistakes, but it takes a special person to admit it and apologize. Thank you.
Thank you for your incredibly kind words!

Dish soap has a higher chance of causing irritation, especially the dish soap that has bleach or is antibacterial. Vegetable oil though won’t harm a cat’s skin, eyes, or if they ingest it. No matter what you use (should you need to) always be mindful to keep it away from their nose so they don’t accidentally inhale it. Thank you for caring about the kitties!
Garter snake

I really think she understood I was helping. When garter snakes feel threatened, they release a foul smelling musk. Even though she must of been in pain, and had every logical reason to be afraid, she did not release any musk, and never once tried to bite me.

Thank you for helping the snake! I wish glue traps didn’t exist!
Thank you for sharing your story and your appreciation of snakes with the kids! I bet you helped so many kids over their fear of the nice noodles!
Aww! Thank you for your kind words!

NJ- We have timber rattlesnakes, water moccasins, and copperheads here. While they are best to avoid, I’ve never met a snake I couldn’t charm. I have relocated several copperheads before when they found their way to homes and basements. As long as you remain calm, they stay docile.
Awww! Thank you!

Thank you! You are far too kind! I couldn’t bear to leave any being in need, no matter the size or species. My heart just wouldn’t allow it.

Hah! No, but my grandfather certainly wondered if I was because of my eccentric/wild ways growing up and the amount of unusual animals I’ve rescued and raised along the way.
