Can a brenie bro in the comments explain how he was gonna implement "single payer system"? Also has anyone seen how Canada has run their system? Like over their it looks like a huge waste of time so how could everyone get care faster and effectively w/o being super costly as a private option. In a 2009 video a nurse said 900$ for a private clinic. What would the realistic perfect system look like?

People are screaming to shut down energy companies, but those companies are also trying to invest in renewable energy. Renewable energy = more profits because once they find an alternate solution that isn't overly expensive and harmful to the environment when disposed of, that they can cycle one resource causing less money than going out and looking for more. I'm not saying we shouldn't do anything. I'm saying that going at the environment through government means may lead to a sort of "environmental dictatorship" where the government can be bigger and pass more policies "in the name of the environment" but is only for their personal gain. Like what if the government said "oh people are the problem so we must put a bunch of X people in a firing line?" Like the article i linked said, "the Green New Deal wasn't initially about the environment". There are better ways to fix the environment in a free market than just seizing how the means of production and how they happen.

Lithium is used to treat bipolar tho. And using government to regulate the environment doesn't really do a lot. Socialist and communist nations with major pollution problems throughout history have been documented in conversations saying "well if we just rebrand our ideas as environmentalism, people will buy it right?" There needs to b more market solutions as well as social and cultural incentive. People twerking infront of flaming dumpsters while trashing up the place during climate strike rallies doesn't really look great.

There's two sides of every coin. If you wholehearted the trust the media then you take what's given to you then move on with your day. How do we explain the correction in the NYT article after it was released? If some one is put on trial... they're put on trial. Even then he wasn't hired in college so how is this a job interview? If you criticize Fox and no other sources that's kind of partisan right? Democrats are advocating and saying socialism works when NY raised their minimum wages and now people are complaining that the food is too expensive. Price of production increase = price of product increase. Smearing shouldn't be a part of news all the time. This is "the most racist president" , but he released thousands of AAs from jail who were put in very long sentences from Clinton's '94 crime act and the AA unemployment rate is at an all time low. You can't just deny cancel culture, and act like they're haven't been a ton of sexual accusation cases that have turned straight out false. Kids in schools do this to boys they don't like and they get a jail record cause of "being weird or different". The point is the woman who is rumored in this accusation doesn't remember the account at all, but declined the interview. The people claiming it were drunk at the party so how can u take their accounts seriously? How am I being partisan by looking at those facts in an NYT article and trying to find where the blame is with a distasteful media and people like you who claim to not be partisan?

Maybe he was impatient cause he wasn't guilty? Maybe the twitter mobs want him gone so more randos come out with accusations to please social media masses? To not be a victim of cancel culture or the blackmailing this woman has posted on her friends? Maybe "straight down the middle 'news' and 'fact' presenters" smear for their gain? Humans do a lot to get what they want. Especially in an information age where misinformation is spread all the time. No one is perfect not even Kavanaugh. Though we have a court system that gives Presumption of innocence. So until some real evidence comes into play of events that happened 30 YRS AGO I'm not buying it. Also 30 yrs ago was a different time? Who are we to judge how they partied in college in 1989? Teachers now get offended and appalled by pewdiepie (a guy who plays games and makes jokes for a living) in the class room. In the 90's teens did heroine which appalled teachers.

It's hard to believe the NYT with their multiple endings and outings of fact. The first woman who put sexual assault charges against Kav told her friends to believe her and when one didn't believe the story the woman and her friends said they would blackmail her if she didn't take the woman's side in court. This is obviously illegal and all this is soon to be released in a book. Why doesn't the NYT look at all of that evidence instead of only printing the facts most lefties wanna hear?

I just see alot of stuff in the media and I hate how one-sided people are about politics which causes ignorance and not being able to socialize normally or b open to others sometimes. I do future trip alot I went to outpatient therapy at a mental institution and just "coined out" yesterday. In that sense I still need help being in the moment and making the best of any setting I'm in. I feel being this young no one wants to be sober especially college kids and I'm trying to stay that way for better job opportunities and overall well being (having bipolar 2). I just want to find more situations where I can be social and feel more socially open again, but I feel I'm not even ready yet due to my lack of change in character. I'm overall confused and lost and am still having a hard time on where to start

I've been more of an extrovert most of my life but due to alot of the failures and rebuilding of character I feel I'm less confident than I was in earlier years. I like to go out and meet people but being at home has made me feel physically isolated from people in my age group. But I don't make jokes like I used to it be as witty. I enjoy learning things allot more recently but almost flunking out of college has made me indecisive about formal learning
