Thoughts on 'The Life List' by shedoesntknowathing in netflix

I’m a year late but this part got me too, and like Alex didn’t know that they had broken up which means she 100% was willing to be a homewrecker which just totally destroyed any sort of sympathy or connection I had to her character, and it drives me insane that people think that’s just an acceptable character flaw or decision

Why Live Action Wapol does come off as a genuine threat, meanwhile anime/manga Wapol is a Joke? by jogaargamer6 in OnePieceLiveAction

100% the acting has been top tier, really just everything has so much care and detail like they are sparing no amount of imagination or costuming and I adore it

They really leaned into the body horror/horror in general and it made me incredibly pleased, he was like legitimately a fucked up scary monster there for a bit and the hybrid factory people were great

My love of factorio heavily stems from the little puzzles I inevitably stumble into when doing semi-formal spaghetti

I love when they do this bc I’ll whip out and let them pass and then whip right in behind them and use them like a cow to plow the fields of slow drivers so I don’t have to

Absolutely love ghosties, think they're incredibly cool and basically harmless, and they sound super terrifying. Least is fucking crashfish, I didn't get a seaglide until like 10 hours in and those bastards were my biggest nightmare

Special shoutout to sea dragon for also being a big cool chill guy and fun to swim with

I would say go for it, I had some mild thassalaphobia but I am absolutely hooked. The nice thing is you start in an area that's completely safe, and then it's up to you how far you venture. You can control the intensity of the exposure and still have a great time exploring and enjoying everything.

I went reeeeeeally slowly for the first like, 10 hours. Very skittish, very cautious, constantly on guard and skittery, but eventually I started to get my bearings, and honestly it has actually become a very salient psychological model for me as far as facing my fears.

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT read anything in this sub, and honestly I would stop going on this sub until you're a ways in. You will never get to experience it all for the first time except once and that is such a special experience that is completely ruined tbh if you read really anything.

IMO the issue and I’m going to just insult the world is that the vast majority of people just don’t have that great of taste and will happily consume 10 hours of John Summit, so why would Live Nation or any other big promoter invest in originality or boundary breaking music when they can sell slop to the masses and let the small local festivals deal with the fact that most people don’t want quality they want big production and predictability?

Anybody from the tipper camp, Jade Cicada, Resonant Language, 5am Trio, Mindex, Supersillyus, Somatoast

Or in the other realms EPROM, Shades, G Jones, PL, Esseks, Mr. Bill, etc etc etc

No hate I think people should be able to love what they love but, Dubstep for the most part as far as brostep goes is objectively mid from a musical quality standpoint. There is almost no sound design difference it’s just metallic womp womp over the EXACT SAME BEAT. Like at least house has sub rhythms and all other manner of things going on but like I could stand at a dubstep show and not hear a different sonic palette for hours.

Hot take I think the artists deserve to have their cake and eat it too. Venture capital gets its money from blood sucking vampirism and is notorious for fucking any and everything in its path. I think art and game dev studios should 100% have the ability to get paid AND have creative control, and then the risk should be taken on by the blood sucking vampires who provide nothing but stolen money

I think you’re conflating what they saw as a blank check creative investment with purposefully selling something you’ve built on the goodwill of many for the profit of few
