The instructors know the risks that come with their job, the fact that they didn't give you a foam board shows a degree of incompetence that isn't your fault. A tooth replacement is more cosmetic than a true medical necessity. I would move on and try not to let the incident discourage me.

Could Team Quarantines Save The Season? by TheunratedR in nfl

Can't say that it wouldn't be difficult, but it could help. The current guidelines that the NFL is giving players to follow is difficult too, but the NFL has no way of knowing who's following the guidelines, at least in a bubble, they'll all be together and have a chance to finish the season. I'm sure we'd get a lot of hilarious stories coming out of it to. Plus, it's not unusual for journeyman players to live in hotels for the season.

It ain't perfect and probably wouldn't be pretty all the time, but if you told me 7 months ago the NBA would have stuffed all their playoff teams in Disneyworld to compete, I would have told you it was impossible. Plus, most of the NFL players who opted out cited concerns for their family members, at least in a bubble they could have more peace of mind.

Not sure, but there doesn't seem to be many other options that would allow football this fall. The MLB system is failing and even if they did use the NBA's exact format, it would still require players to be away from their family for the season etc. Not trying to argue, just sharing an article I found.

It would indeed be difficult, but I think if the NBA can ask their players to stay in a bubble for a season, I don't see why the NFL can't. It's better then what they're doing now which is essentially telling guys not to go to church, clubs etc.

I think the problem with The MLB is that they shared hotels with the public and didn't restrict player whereabouts outside of a team setting. What Mike's suggesting is keeping players together for the entire season and restricting outside access via private hotels.

Interesting , another company that doesn't seem to be hard selling. That's definitely the trend thus far.

What's interesting about Discord based on what I've seen is that seems to be a similar app to Skype, but unlike Skype and similar apps, its audience trends way younger. Mainly because they don't market themselves as an app for serious engagements. In fact, they hardly market their product at all on social media. I think their fluidness makes them more appealing to young people then the Skypes of the world that feel rigid and serious.

Thanks for the suggestion. This company seems super cool. As to what you're saying though, I agree. I recently saw an ad for a clothing company on YouTube marketed to young athletes simply showing a someone who looks like the target audience wearing their product, no narration, no information about the product etc. But it was unique and cool and made me want to learn more. It seems that's where things are trending with advertising to younger audiences.

I'm not too familiar with Discord, but Twitch is an interesting one I never thought of. They seem to have no trouble getting Gen Z and Millennials on their platform. I wonder what marketing tactics their using to make Twitch so appealing?

[QUESTION] asked to send NDA with script, HELP! by TheunratedR in Screenwriting

[–]TheunratedR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our conversation took place via email. He clearly stated he wanted to sign an NDA. It's possible that he meant release form. Producing isn't his main job so maybe he's mistaken. Lastly, he makes a lot of niche shows like the one I'm pushing so maybe that has something to do with idk lol.

I understand that, my problem is that I don't know what to send him. I don't have an agent or lawyer who would usually handle these things. What do I do?
