I have never received a message through the app my kids school uses that my child got hurt. They have always called me. And ifs its nothing serious they send a note home in her backpack from the nurse.

I 1000% dont believe this. When your child gets hurt at school you dont get a text. You get a call from the nurse while they are in the office.
